Hospital Benefit allows members to save up to 25% and more at participating
facilities in the U.S. The PCBC has formed a strategic partnership with
a network that provides access to over 70% of the Hospitals in the U.S.
This benefit is a unique program through which members may receive savings
long afforded to only insurance companies. Providers have agreed to charge
reduced fees for PCBC members in exchange for new patients and "secured
payment." Members must secure payment with cash, credit card or certified
funds to the facility administrator prior to admittance..
Members MUST pre-certify and obtain pre-authorization before any procedure(s) are performed. A case manager will assist in coordinating providers (when necessary) and obtaining an estimate of fees for the proposed procedure(s). If a claim is received that has not been pre-certified by a Member, it will be returned to the provider marked "SELF PAY." The PCBC hospital benefit IS NOT INSURANCE, nor is it intended to replace insurance. It is a medical savings program that saves members money provided they are capable of making payment arrangements, in full, with the administrator prior to receiving their services. There are no restrictions, limits on savings, pre-existing condition limitations, or waiting periods. If a member is capable of paying for a procedure and utilizes a participating hospital, then the PCBC hospital benefit will save them money.
